Today, we can look back proudly on more than 70 years as a logistics service provider:

Massong was founded in 1940 as a haulage operation for mining timber in Moers. Since 1960, Paderborn has been the hub and headquarters of our international logistics business. This is where we plan and control all the activities of the Würfel-Massong Logistik GmbH.

The logistics industry has changed substantially over the last twenty years: the introduction of just-in-time and just-in-sequence production requires procurement logistics solutions that function with a high degree of reliability. Massong has been active in this area since 1995.

Around this time, we also initiated the certification of our quality management, which helps us continually optimize our internal workflows and fulfill the requirements of the industry. In 2002, we converted our QM system to DIN EN ISO 9001, and with the introduction of a certified environmental management system (in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001) we took a clear stand on the topic of environmental protection.

A new era began in 2005 for us with the founding of Massong-Industrie Service GmbH: for the first time, we began to refine components for the automotive industry. Since then, our service portfolio has also featured shipping solutions for our customers. And in 2009, we added yet another industry to our logistics business: food transport.

We're logistics specialists, through and through. For example, we've even developed our own logistics software – MLN (Massong Logistics Network).
